Dota 6.72c Map Download - Dota-Allstars 6.72c Official Map just released! The new map is out guys and i'm surprised with the amount of changes in this map. Usually IceFrog only fix some vital bugs when released the b/c/d version of a map. But heck, you will find many balance and some cosmetic changes in this map, including the addition of Filipino language(!). Maybe he want to make a new stable map as soon as possible. Anyway, let's check out the new map!

- Base intelligence increased from 16 to 19

Broodmother
- Base movement speed reduced from 310 to 295
- Spin Web cooldown reduced from 90/70/50/30 to 30
- Spin Web AoE increased from 500 to 650
- Spin Web movement bonus increased from 20/23/26/29% to 20/25/30/35%
- Spawn Spiderlings spawn count decreased from 1/2/3/4 to 1/2/3/3
- Spawn Spiderlings Manacost rebalanced from 80/100/120/140 to 120

- Added a 2 second fade time to Nature's Guise

• Fixed Hookshot having inconsistent behavior on magic immune units

DotA - WoDotA Top10 Weekly Vol.53



Here you go, the Vol. 53 of WoDotA Weekly Top 10!

10. Rhasta ganked by Gondar and Sandking but killed them instead with the help of Tinker
9. Zeus got rampage with a single ulti!
8. Razor kills Ogre Magi by using the fog
7. Dying Panda lured Huskar and Sniper into jungle with Remnant already placed and kill them both
6. Invoker survive from 4 heroes gank and kill 3 of them
5. Magnificent escape from Puck by perfectly timed Phase Shift to evade Windrunner's Power Shot
4. Nevermore got an Ultra Kill alone with perfect Raze
3. Windrunner got triple kill with perfectly aimed Power Shot
2. A really awesome timing from Darkseer's Vacuum allow Nevermore Requiem and Earthshaker's Echo Slam hit all heroes and killed them all
1. Techies kill 5 heroes with his mines and ended it with suicide

WoDotA Funny Top 10 Episode 1



Inspired by the success of WoDotA Weekly Top 10, WoDotA create another series, the WoDotA Funny Top 10! Since it's the first episode, let's keep our expectation low. Here we go!


Bug when choosing heroes? Anyone know what the text mean?

Kunkka missed Torrent, missed Ghost Ship and killed instead.

The items is left on the ground. Anyone know what the text mean?

Barathrum charging a creep and chased by a bunch of heroes. But when Lina stun Bara, Lina's allies, Purist, cast repel on Bara instead and let Bara tele to base succesfully -_-;;

Atropos and Bara is try to kill Clink. But Tiny (Atropos and Bara's ally), suddenly coming up and Toss Atropos, cancel his ulti and letting Clink to escape -_-

Bara charging Lina, but when Bara cast the ulti for finishing move, he trapped into the cliff instead and ended up killed by Lina. Man, many scene involved Bara in this video!

Dying Tinker get killed by Creep. Also featured on WoDotA top 10 vol 52.

The funniest scene, Rubick trap Pudge in the cliff with telekinesis. When he dying, he manage to hook Rubick but still dead instead. And then came Ogre Magi trying to kill Rubick, but Rubick trapped him too. Even so, Ogre still manage to kill Rubick. While Ogre dying, Pudge came as a life saver and ready to hook Ogre. But it seems the hook is not long enough and leave Ogre died to the creep. If i'm the one who play Ogre, i'm definitely on rage with Pudge ~_~

Furion cast Teleportation aimed to kill half HP Techies, but he teleport into the mines and ending up killed by Techies instead.

Rikimaru and Rhasta try to escape but blocked by creeps.

Furion blocked by creeps and left him with little HP. When he finally manage to escape from the creep block, Davion killed him. Dying Sven rushing to avenge Furion but just give another kill for Davion. Magina who still in good health blinked in to chase Davion but trapped on the trees and also killed by Davion -_-;;

OK, if the maker read this, here is several feedback i would like to give:
1. Please make the text in English so more people can understand it. If necessary, make two version, Chinese and English :D
2. Since this is Top 10, it will be great if you also rank the scenes.

DotA 6.70c AI R2 Fun v2.5 Map Download | More than 25 Fun Heroes!


This map already came out for quite some time, but the release of DotA 6.72 overshadow it. SuperWaitSum is the creator of this map and he continue the work of the previous AI Fun map maker. You can check out the download link and tavern list below!


Here are the tavern list:
1. Remade Tavern. The old version of remade heroes.
2. Extinct Tavern. The heroes that no longer exist on the current DotA.
3. Concept Tavern. Fun heroes.
4. Tribute Tavern. Yet another fun heroes.

Right now PBMN is still working on the DotA 6.71b AI, while waiting for him to finish, why don't we play Cloud Strife in this map :D

10: Pudge getting Triple kill by using Blade Mail to reflect Rhasta’s Wards and kill the dying Rhasta
9: Perfect timing from Kunkka and Rylai allowing her to get a Rampage
8: Lion avoided the First Blood attempt and killed Juggernaut with a blind stun and get the First Blood instead
7: Puck avoid getting killed with several timely Phase Shift or maybe it's auto cast
6: Clockwerk trapping 4 heroes with the Cog followed by Chronosphere and allowing Zeus to cast his skill clearing the opponent team
5: Kunka casting the ship to get speed boost and kills Morphing with Torrent and Splash
4: World luckiest Tiny?
3: Davion got a Triple kill with timely Armlet on/off
2: Tinker suicide! XD
1: ClockWerk got Ultra Kill with Missiles

Special: Shadow Demon is suddenly dead after killing Morphling. Anyone know what's really happen?

4: Puck avoid Venge’s stun and Sniper's Assasinate with Phase Shift. Ended up kill all the chaser
3: Invoker got an Ultrakill With the help of Neutral Creeps Centaur Warchief's Stomp
2: Great team work from Sand King, Kunkka, Faceless Void, Magnus And Lina.
1: Sven using Armlet to prevent himself from dying and gets a double kill with ES help

Rubick's Unstealable Ability List


Confuse about which spell that cannot be stolen by Rubick the Grand Magus? This list which taken from PlayDota forums will help you about that.

List of abilities that Rubick cannot steal:
Useless abilities
- Example: Sub-abilities, or Quas/Wex/Exort/Invoke
Transformation abilities
- Example: Chemical Rage, Firefly, Flak Cannon, ect..Arrow abilities

- Example: Poison Attack, Glaives of Wisdom, ect..
Items
- It's obvious!
Abilities with hotkey conflicts
Q: None!
X: X Marks the Spot, Shadowraze X, Tornado, Exorcism
Z: Shadowraze Z, Freezing Field, Alacrity
Abilities with technical issues:
Morph Agility/Strength, Summon Spirit Bear, Spin Web, War Club, Soul Assumption, Refraction, Borrowed Time, Overcharge, Spirits, Insatiable Hunger, Devour, Telekinesis, Fade Bolt, Spell Steal (!)

Call Down now has a global cast range and the second rocket does 75 more damage.

Call Down Aghanim Ability Code: A235

Huskar
- Burning Spears minimum HP requirement removed (it is still non-lethal)
- Life Break cast mechanism changed

It now has a 600 cast range and causes Huskar to quickly dash forward towards the target. You are magic immune while running forward. If you get interrupted, the dash stops.

Icarus
- Icarus Dive cooldown decreased from 40 to 30
- Icarus Dive no longer makes Phoenix spell immune. If he is disabled during it, he stops
- Sun Ray no longer slows
- Sun Ray damage from 10/20/30/40 + 5% to 15/30/45/60 + 4%
- Sun Ray turn rate slightly improved
- Fire Spirits now trigger in the area around you and your target when you use Target Fire Spirits

The damage and heal from the two areas do not stack, you are only affected once

Invoker
- No longer gets interrupted by casting orbs or invoke

Quas: A21W (code change)
Wex: A21X (code change)
Exort: A21V (code change)

Invoke Aghanim: A1GU (code change)

- Base damage reduced by 5
- Alacrity can now target mechanical units (1680)
- Alacrity manacost increased from 50 to 100
- Alacrity bonus damage & attack speed decreased from 30->90 to 20->80
- Cold Snap now requires a minimum of 10 damage before it triggers
- Ice Wall no longer affects magic immune units
- The Invoke combinations are now displayed in the ability tooltip
- Fixed some issues with how Invoke tracks your recently casted spells

It now always remembers the latest invoke spell even if it is one you already have. So if you have two and want to keep the oldest one, you can recast it and it will consider it the newest one.

Jakiro
- Macropyre AoE increased from 200 to 225

Juggernaut
- Base HP regeneration increased from 0.25 to 0.75
- Blade Dance critical strike chance rescaled from 10/20/25/35% to 15/20/25/35%

Kunkka
- Ghost Ship stun increased from 1 to 1.2 seconds

DotA Rubick Guide, The Grand Magus Guide, Strategy & Build. Rubick is an Intelligence hero which is introduced on the DotA 6.72 Beta. This post will provide you with the Rubick Skill Description, the Rubick Guide, the Rubick Strategy, the Rubick Item Build and the Grand Magus Skill Build.

Rubick, the son of Aghanim, is a force to be reckoned with. Crowds marvel in wonder at his effortless ability to hurl objects through the air, using nothing but his mind. Many wizards have challenged him yet none have surpassed his powerful and debilitating magics. The Grand Magus, with his endless talent, will stop at nothing to bewilder and outsmart his enemies, even if it means turning their own magic against them. Renowned for his unique ability to steal magics with a mere thought, he is undeniably a favorable asset to the Sentinel in their fight against the Scourge.

Rubick the Grand Magus Skill Descriptions

Telekinesis
Rubick uses his telekinetic powers to lift the enemy into the air briefly and then hurls them back at the ground. The unit lands on the ground with such force that it stuns nearby enemies.

Lift Duration: 1.5/1.75/2/2.25 seconds
Stun duration: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75 (in the area it lands in, all enemy units except the initial target)
Land stun AoE: 325

Cast Range: 550/575/600/625
Cooldown: 18
Manacost: 160

While the target is in the air, Rubick may use a secondary ability to control the throw the enemy in a targeted direction. Maximum of 375 units away.

Note: The directional landing happens when the lift duration is over, but you can issue the direction order anytime.

Fade Bolt
Rubick creates a powerful stream of arcane energy that travels between enemy units, dealing damage and reducing their attack damage for 10 seconds. Each bounce reduces the damage dealt by 4%.

Attack Reduction: -14/20/26/32 Damage [-7/10/13/16 on creeps]
Duration: 10 seconds

Null Field
Rubick's mastery of the arcane protects his allies against weaker magics, granting them magic resistance.

Magic Damage Reduction: 5/10/15/20%

Spell Steal
Rubick studies the trace magical essence of one enemy hero, learning the secrets of the last spell the hero cast. Rubick can use this spell as his own for several minutes or until he dies.

Spell is stolen for: 3/4/5 minutes

Cooldown: 20/18/16

Note: If you steal another spell, the old one is lost. Both teams see what spell was stolen. Items cannot be stolen, only abilities. You will get a warning message when the spell steal duration is close to expiring.

Rubick is easy to get killed in early game, so take Telekinesis first to prevent it. Then maximize Fade Bolt for its nuke and it is only need a few mana. So it will be more useful than stuning spell. Next Telekinesis until maximum and then Null field. Spell Steal is taken everytime it is available. Stats for the last.

If your enemy has more dps heroes than spellcasters, you can choose to take stats instead of Null Field. Also if you meet spell spammers in your lane, you have an option to take Null Field on early level. But it will slow you down when you want to gank.

Rubick the Grand Magus Item Build

1. 3x ironwood branches, Mantle of Intelligence, Magic Stick, and Tango
2. Boots of Speed
3. Finish Arcane Boots
4. Finish Magic Wand
5. Finish Null Talisman
6. Urn of Shadows

Rubick's core item should be like this:

Arcane Boots - Boost your movement speed as well as your mana pool. Good for ganker like Rubick. Help your friend to spam their skills too.

Magic Wand - Obviously used for instant regen (HP and Mana). Best when enemy has spell users.

Null Talisman - Good early stats and can be upgraded later into dagon.

Urn of Shadow - Gives you HP boost. Also a free salves. Obviously get this if no one on your side have it.

Bottle - One slot, 600 gold, fast regen (both HP and Mana), and a measure against mana burners. But don't take it early because you need stats more than this. Purchase it when you're ready to gank.

Boots of Travel - Change with this boots on late game for his mobility.

Dagon - Perfect for ganking. But if you get hard to farm and fail to get this in early to mid game, change to other useful item. Such as luxuries.

Here are Luxury late game items for him:

Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse - Very good stats (str, agl, especially int), mana regen, and Hex. Disabling your opponent's carry or good spell caster.

Eul's Scepter of Divinity - An alternative for Guinsoo. Its cheaper of course.

Shiva's guard - Huge amount of mana is welcomed. Plus Its Aoe nuke and slow. Good when combined with Rubick's spells.

Linken's Sphere - Not only gives attributes and HP/Mana regen, but also provide you with ability to prevent the effect of deadly skill. Get this item if opponent's team has good nukers (such as Lina, Lion, Lucifer, etc) and single disabler (leviathan, etc)

Khadgar's Pipe of Insight - Gives magic resistance againts magic damagers. A situational item. Get it if the other team has a lot of magic spammers.

Veil of Discord - This new item is really nice. Additional stats and Its Discord can amplifies your magic damage. Get this if your team has more than one of good spellcasters.

Orchid Malevolence - Consist of cheap obivion staff and useful for counter enemy's scary spells or imba skills. Its also amplifies magic damage.

Rubick the Grand Magus Strategy

You can pick this hero if your team need nuker, supporter, AOE disabler, or spell stealer (?)

You can be supported by:

- Your team's Ganker
and Carries (Ursa, Lina, Venge, Bala)
It's more easy when ganking with them.
- Enemy team's AOE disabler (Treant, Leviathan, Enigma)
Steal their spell so you can use it for your team's benefit.
You can be a supporter for:
- Your team's heroes, almost all of them (especially carries)

Beware of his counter:
Silencer DotA Hero Drow Ranger DotA Hero Nerubian Assassin DotA Hero Death Prophet DotA Hero Anti-Mage DotA Hero Doom Bringer DotA Hero or carrier
- Silencer and manaburner
Once you are silenced or mana-emptied you can do nothing except normal attack. Thats game over (espesially Magina and Lucifer)
Counter Lucifer:
Let he dooms to other hero on your team and steal it. When you are on a same lane with him harass him and control your lane. Don't make him farm easily.
Demon Witch DotA Hero or carrier
- Disabler
You are a squishy hero, so you must be careful not to get stunned or disabled.

Playstyle

On early game, you can start laning by solo mid or dual lane. But when you take dual lane be careful not too carried away because your stun isn't enough to disable 2 enemies on one time. You will easily get pawned.
Rubick has a good stun and nuke. But not enough to kill your enemy. Just be patient until you get to level 6. Bolt will be spammable when it goes to lvl 3.

When the game enter mid game, you must be at lvl 6. At this time you should already have Arcane Boots and Wand in your slot. Then start gank with help from your teammate.
Gank is your job. You can do Telekinesis, Spell Steal your enemy's skill right before he dies, and end with bolt. But always remember to leave the kills to your carries. Farm between gank and try to destroy tower.
Aim to get some good support items such as Guinsoo, Discord, or Shiva while youre in this phase of the game.

Late game will be hard for spellcaster like Rubick. So always stick with your team and support them as much as you can. Your spell still good enough to break the enemy's combo, especially when you steal a good skill from them. Choose it carefully. And also Rubick's AOE magic protector for your whole team.
At this moment you must be already get at least Guinsoo, or Shiva. Use it wise.
