StarCraft 2 Dota-Allstars, It's Possible!
StarCraft 2 Dota-Allstars Map is possible. Warcraft and Starcraft is like a twin brother. One will release after another and won't kill each other. And the next turn to release is Starcraft 2. Maybe you already know that Starcraft is more like future based games while Warcraft is the opposite, ancient based. Despite those different setting, there's a question arise. Is Warcraft III Dota-Allstars custom map will be possible in StarCraft 2?
Let's see.. Many new characters are being introduced into the StarCraft lore with the addition of the star map in Wings of Libery. These characters will provide missions and have various interactions with Raynor throughout the campaign. The question is, can we use those character on map editor like on Warcraft III? Blizzard has confirmed that it is possible. Not only that, hero abilities and leveling system is also allowed within the custom maps. Now, what's still missing? Any idea people? Yes, it is the items/equipment. What's the meaning of having heroes without great items right? But don't worry, items is also included in the map editor. That means all things necessary already served.
In the official Starcraft 2 Beta, a map editor will be included. This will provide Blizzard direct feedback from the map makers, including IceFrog (if he decide to make it). The feedback will give Blizzard some idea of which features needed to make a StarCraft 2 Dota-Allstars map and other custom map.
In summary, Blizzard is likely make Dota-Allstars possible to implemented in StarCraft 2. Now, let's just see what will IceFrog do with it ^_^

Dota-Allstars China, how do you feel?
Dota-Allstars China, have you ever heard of it? This issue is lately being debatable on Dota-Allstars forums. For your information, i quote this post:
Ugh, honestly, i really appreciated IceFrog for his effort on Dota-Allstars. I even donate some money on his site to support the forums. And looking the pirated screenshot kinda make me feel sad. The Dota-Allstars China even not include IceFrog name in the loading screen and added advertisement. If i were Icy, i will be raged like hell. What about you?
PS: You can check in here, even some chinese people also want include IceFrog name on the loadscreen.
It's not the original version of dota.
It is a Chinese translated version of dota but NOT the official Chinese translate version u could get at getdota.com.
And this DOTA 6.56 CN has been registered copyright in China by that translate group but not for sale,it is totally free to get and play.
It looks funny. We got two translate team,two DOTA in Chinese language to play.One is the official ICEFROG DOTA which could play with other translated version,one is the DOTA 6.56 CN with minor fix to fully surpport war3 1.20v and modified loading screen to show some ads.

This version is contains many bug fixes and adjustment to fix the game. There's no new content in this map, but the changes or i must say problem fix are vital and great.

The answer is because i get the file from getdota.com and you can even see the changelogs of 6.55b on that site too. Just see below the Dota 6.55 changelogs and you will see that there's changelogs for Dota-Allstars 6.55b. I assume it still in release process and will going to front page shortly. The main change is fix Dota 6.55 bug.

The cosmetics for Night Stalker is make him more terrify on the night.
Multiple Town Portal is now enable. Now you can teleport in about 300 AoE near the tower without having unit/tower as target. Just click the land near them.
2 New Heroes! Kunkka the Admiral Proudmoore (Captain Coco) and Alleria the Windrunner. Also watch the location of the Sentinel Tavern, it is now placed on the bottom right of the map.
The Dagger is now not disabled by creep/tower attack, only hero attack disabled it. glad to hear that!
Woot, 4 new items!
With the darken area nearby, it feel's more like a dark hole
The crown is look sexy on him :p
Now the old model of Ezalor is the metamorphosis mode.
I love this skill! :)

Dota 6.55b Incoming due Dota 6.55 Bug!
Dota 6.55b will Coming Out Soon! Dota-Allstars 6.55 bug on the new Aegis system is likely the major cause of it. There already several bugs reported regarding Aegis. The worst bug is the game will crashes with fatal error message. The other bugs is cause you to have immortal hero, more than one Aegis or even immortal bear. IceFrog is make a thread about this, you can check it here. He also make a beta map of 6.55b, you can check the link within this post.
Here is some stories of the bug:
If you also had some fatal error or bug about that, you should report it to IceFrog. And you can even test the Dota 6.55b Beta map, IceFrog provide it for us because some of the bug is hard to reproduce. Here is the link of the Dota 6.55b Beta

Here is some stories of the bug:
- I was playing against a Syllabear who killed Roshan and accidently picked up non-droppable new aegis with his bear.The bear never dropped it, and every time it died, it would just resurrect at the spot it died with aegis still in its inventory. It could also still attack, even if the hero was dead, as long as it was within the restricting attack range from where Syllabear died.
- I was playing leshrac with bloodstone and magic stick. Me and potm killed roshan and about 5 seconds after i picked up the aegis, everyone in the game fatal errored.
- I am not sure how helpful I can be, but this was my experience yesterday: I loaded a single player game to test out the new heroes. I turned on -noherolimit so I could experience a lot of changes. I was particularly enjoying Windrunner, and I took her to solo Roshan - I got the Aegis on her, and noticed the timer. At this time I chose the new Captain hero and played around with him for a while - Roshan was back, and I decided to take Windrunner to visit him. She still had the Aegis on (with a number "1" in the corner) and I killed him, getting a second Aegis (with a new timer).
- Strange, my aegis did not show any timer....
It just show number one like Aegis in older version.
When i test it with Meepo, Clones has 200 mana only when they reincarnate.
If you also had some fatal error or bug about that, you should report it to IceFrog. And you can even test the Dota 6.55b Beta map, IceFrog provide it for us because some of the bug is hard to reproduce. Here is the link of the Dota 6.55b Beta

The changes is extreme, but must of them already leaked on my Dota 6.55 Beta post :D There are 2 new heroes ( Alleria the Windrunner and Kunkka the Admiral Proudmoore) + 1 reworked one, 4 new items, new loading screens and many more. 4 heroes. Running out of time does not result in a random hero ban.
After that you enter the 1/2/2/ pick phase. Each captain picks the heroes
his team will use.
If at any time you run out of time, you start to use up your extra time. If
you run out and you are in pick phase, you get a random hero.
Creeps spawn 90 seconds after the pick draft phase is over. Right after the
hero pick phase ends, the 5 heroes for your team are presented with a
checkmark on them (RD style) allowing players on your team to pick which one
they want to be.
The captain that starts this process is random. If you want to give the
starting to Sentinel, type -cm 1 or -cm 2 for Scourge after the game mode is
entered.
The picks, bans, timers, etc are all presented in a board for easy viewing
by team mates and observers.

It now gives vision gradually as it grows in the area it is "illuminating"
rather than at the end.

Mana Leak:
========
In short, a mana rupture. The numbers are 0.035/0.04/0.045/0.050% of total
manapool drained per unit moved. So, if the target moves 700 units, at level
1 it loses 24.5% of total mana pool.. at level 4 it loses 35% of its total
mana pool. Duration of the buff is 5/6/7/8
If the target runs out of mana, the effect stops and the target is stunned
for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds.

Increased cast range(500->900), lowered cooldown a bit(19->19/18/17/16

Recall:
-Teleports an allied hero to you after 5/4/3 seconds. If the unit takes

-Causes illuminate to self charge when cast in spirit form. You can
discharge it by clicking on a temporary replacement icon that appears in
your ability card.

Creep control duration reduced from 120 to 80 seconds.

This is now the ultimate. Bonus Damage 15%/20%/25%, Manacost is 55/60/65 and
Cooldown is 0 seconds on all levels. As an ultimate it now pierces magic
immmunity
++ Bounty Hunter
Track:

The movement bonus is now given in an area around the tracked unit to all
allied units. The bonus bounty is given to bounty hunter as long as the
target dies while under the buff, the killer is not a factor. See tooltip
for more data. Costs 50 mana all levels.

Captains Mode:

Blue and Pink are the team captains. A random side starts the process(you
can customize this, see below)
Ban Time: 40
Pick Time: 60
Extra Time: 45
You start by alternating 1/1/1 in the ban phase. Each captain removes up to
4 heroes. Running out of time does not result in a random hero ban.
After that you enter the 1/2/2/ pick phase. Each captain picks the heroes
his team will use.
If at any time you run out of time, you start to use up your extra time. If
you run out and you are in pick phase, you get a random hero.
Creeps spawn 90 seconds after the pick draft phase is over. Right after the
hero pick phase ends, the 5 heroes for your team are presented with a
checkmark on them (RD style) allowing players on your team to pick which one
they want to be.
The captain that starts this process is random. If you want to give the
starting to Sentinel, type -cm 1 or -cm 2 for Scourge after the game mode is
entered.
The picks, bans, timers, etc are all presented in a board for easy viewing
by team mates and observers.

Dota 6.55 AI - Dota-Allstars 6.55 AI Map Download Section. I already have BuffMePlz words about this new map. And sadly, he said that it will going to take a while for porting the AI into this new map. I can't blame him, Dota 6.55 give us a lot of new things and changes. And that's means a lot of work for BMP ^_^" But still, this post will be your place to share about Dota-Allstars 6.55 AI :) This is what he said when released Dota 6.54b AIPlus revision 5.
Well, even though it won't be soon, if you have any information about Dota 6.55 AI, share it here. Of course i will always keep in touch with the AI map update. Until then, let's try Alleria the Windrunner and Kunkka the Admiral Proudmoore on Dota 6.55 :D

Well, I guess I'll upload Rev. 5 for now. It's only been briefly tested but at least this version fixes the "Nameless Bot" bug.
Also added a -nn mode, for people who don't like playing against Necrobooks. AI bots that normally get Necrobooks will not if you use -nn. If -nn is not chosen, AIs that get Necrobooks will randomly choose one of the two builds to follow.
Now, on to 6.55. Don't expect anything soon, this one's going to take a while. =/
