New Dota-Allstars Official Website Screenshot
An inside source has just give me a sneak peek of the new Dota website. Click the picture above to see the full size. The new website is still on rapid development, so maybe there will be some change on the above design. Anyway, i love the new layout :) What about you?
PS: If you haven't know, IceFrog is left Dota-Allstars.com and decide to make a new Dota Website. I highly assume the new site will be launched together with Dota 6.60 on early June.

Dota-Allstars 6.60 Released on Early June!
First, I want to thank everyone for their emails in the past week or so. Things have been kind of hectic lately. Even though I usually don't like to give a schedule, you guys have been very patient. My plan is to release 6.60 in early June and I am doing my best to make sure that there are no further delays. If a feature or change still needs more work, I'll try to save it for the next version instead so I can get this in your hands asap.
Here is a list of a few of the things to expect in 6.60. There will be many new items (at least 5) and improvements or remakes to current items. You can also expect lots of ability changes on old heroes, a couple hero remakes and a new hero or two. A new regeneration system for structures will be active only when they are attacked without creeps/corpses nearby (more detailed infomation on the mechanics for this in the changelog). Naturally there will be the usual balance, bug and visual fixes that come with every update. That is just a brief summary; there are a lot more interesting miscellaneous changes and features, but I'll save the rest for the changelog.
As always, feel free to let me know what things you do and don't like, feedback and suggestions are very important to me. Thanks again for the patience and I hope you guys enjoy the map.

Dota 6.60 AI Plus - Dota 6.60b AI Plus Map Download
Dota 6.60 AI Plus / Dota 6.60b AI - Dota-Allstars 6.60 AI Plus Map Download Section. A lot of changes and new contents added on Dota-Allstars 6.60. 2 additional heroes, new items and lot of new things. With those new stuff, i think BuffMePlz (our AI maker/porter) will take some time to finish the map.

Been a while since any sort of update or progress, I guess. Life's been busy, and that usually takes first priority in...well...life. =P
But I'm still here, and working on the map when I can. As for 6.60, sounds like things are going to be overhauled like crazy. I think I'd prefer to try to finish isolating the script and then integrate it with the 6.60 map, instead of the normal porting. This will probably take a lot longer, but it should be quite a bit more stable. There's a lot of legacy code that's being carried from version to version that would need to be cropped out, but it would probably be more effective to get the script into the new version.
We'll see. Doing it this way will make a cleaner version, but will take a lot longer.
Good luck BMP, i can't do much help about Dota 6.60 AI / Dota 6.60b AI. But i believe many people supporting you in this :)

Anyway, about AI for 6.60, since I know that's what everyone wants to know about...
My original plan was to finish isolating the original script, update and rewrite it, and then release on whatever version would been out by then (I'm about 110% sure that it will be newer than 6.60 at that point). However, if it seems like demand is high enough and people are willing to play against AI bots that don't make use of the new features or abilities (Razor's AI, for example, will be more or less completely broken), then I can continue to back-port features, at least for the purpose of trying new items and builds on something.
Problem is, this back-porting will take a long, long time (given the amount of changes, I'd say at least two months), time that I can spend furthering development on the script itself, so it's a significant fork in the road.
Pretty much the choices are:
1. Back-port features, get some bots that don't work all that well, can have training with new features in ~two months
2. Update AI, get bots that (hopefully) work with all new features, can have training with new features in ~long time
3. Wait for somebody else to write an AI map (I think Harreke was working on one), can have training in ~who knows
Well, i guess we have to be patience with Dota 6.60 AI. It contain great changes indeed..
This post will be updated with Dota 6.60 AI progress. When the Dota 6.60 AI map finished, we will place the download link here. Until then, be patience and let's explore Dota 6.60 new content ;)

Ok, here is the answer, buy 2 Manta Style! OK, i guess some of you are start typing to flame me right now ^^ Of course i wouldn't recommend this for a serious game, BKB is a better choice than additional Manta, but let's do this for fun ;p
Ok, now here's the trick, after the first Manta, use ReArm, your Manta cooldown will be refreshed and click your second Manta. Tadaaa! You just got another images ^^ If you have 3 Manta Style, you will get 6 images with this trick. But 3 Mantas are sure not cheap ~_~
Well, if you insist want to use this in the real game, make sure you've got your BoT, your first Manta and Shivas/Gynsoo (for the mana) before doing this. Beside, 5 Tinker is better than 3 Tinker right? ;p

Earth Shaker - Raigor Guide to Jungling (What??!)
Benefits
- If done correctly, 1-2 wave will denied completely from enemies
- You can make the enemy under leveled
- Gain fast experience and gold
- Your friend on the bottom line will out level your enemies
Requirement
- Heroes that can defend the bottom tower well (Axe is a good one)
- Or, you can have 2 heroes on the bottom line
- Good timing on blocking and pulling the creeps
- Ability to last hit properly
Ok, choose Earth Shaker and buy some replenish items. My starting items are Ring of Protection, 4 clarity and 2 sets of tangoes.
1) ES is positioned on the cliff behind the 2nd bot sentinel tower
2) Fissure is cast before creeps spawn (0:28 - then every 30 seconds after)
3) Creeps are redirected and takes the route between sentinel mid towers and the 2 sentinel neutral camps - then heads into the middle off the sentinel forest - passing very close to the central high-tier camp and the top camp on the left.
Ok, now the choice is yours. I usually pull the high tier creeps like the above picture and then continued with top-right camp. And then pulled the bottom creeps. After the high tier creep respawn, i repeat the 1st and 2nd step. This is a lot easier than the original guide from below (but maybe less effective) You can choose which fit you better.
4) Then aggro and drag camps which are on route of your incoming creeps. First is the most top-right hand side camp.
5) A tango is used on the trees lining the bottom camp, opening a route from the pullable camp to the top camp. creeps from first wave should be routed by a combined attack from both camps.
6) Get ready to pull the bottom sent camp between 1;15-1;17; i personally judge it from the minimap - the box over the hero is exactly 45 degrees to the incoming creeps - do take note pull 3-4 seconds early if you get the demonspawn satyrs.
7) If the pull is successful take note off the hp off creeps and aggro the top camp to come down;you should optimally arrive with the top camp on your tail just as the bottom camp is nearly finished or just dead, allowing your creeps to follow them back.
8) If pulled correctly; creeps would head to the top camp - when top camp is killed off as well; you should have some healthy levels and the majority of 2 full creep waves denied.
Please note that this must be done on Sentinel side. But if you want to find a way for Scourge side, feel free to try it. Of course there's a lot of better jungle out there like Enigma (the best one at the moment), Chen or Axe. But using Earth Shaker for jungling is rather fun and offer something new ;p
Warning!
Better you tried this on single game beforehand, because it needs some timing precision and practice to do this well. If you screw up, you will end under leveled and high possibility on getting flamed..

IceFrog Leaves Dota-Allstars.com! WTF??!!

As a result of some differences, I am no longer affiliated with the dota-allstars.com website. I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone over there the best of luck in the future.
I still plan on continuing DotA development for a long time, a couple years at the very least. The next update, 6.60, is nearing the end of its design and testing phase. The translation phase will also be starting shortly. There is still a little bit more work to do on fixing some specific content, but it's finally approaching completion. I will post another update here in the near future.
As of today, I am starting a new community site for DotA. I think it is more valuable to the players though if I focus most of my time on developing and improving the game, so I'm here to reach out and ask for help on this. I believe that with some organization, the community has some very talented people that can help build a site to serve their interests and needs. Help can come in many different forms: programming, design, technical support, content contributions, etc. My goal is to have a format where everyone that wants to help can contribute in a productive way. The Dota Patcher is currently still in development, so there's still some known issues that need to be fixed. Here is the list of current issues at the time i write this post:
Issue: Banlist will not open properly.
Reason: This is because the launcher does not have the ability to stagger program execution, when banlist starts war3 is not fully loaded so banlist complains.
Solution: Implement a delay between program execution
Status: Pending Implementation
Issue: All of the news dates, at least on my system, are listed as December 13, 2003
Reason: News currently is not automatically generated from the dota allstars announcements
Solutions: Ensure news is synced, either through automatic syndication or some other means
Status: Pending Implementation
Issue: A user should be able to have multiple "play profiles" easily selectable
Reason: People may need to change between two or three profiles depending on their current play situation
Solution: Create a way for users to create, manage, and select multiple run profiles

Dota 6.60 Beta 54 Changes Summary (relatively to Dota 6.60 Beta 46)
ITEMS:
- New recipe shows (mentioned in IceFrog's blog) introduced
- Kadhgar's Pipe of Insight from Beta 45/46 renamed to Ghost Scepter. New icon.
- Kadhgar's Pipe of Insight is the name of a new item in the Supportive Vestments recipe shop. Upgraded version of Hood of Defiance. Has the "Barrier" active ability, blocks limited amount of magic damage (old Storm Spirit's ability).
- Quelling Blade damage bonus nerfed to +36%/12% from +40%/20%. Price nerfed to 250g (from 200g in Beta 46).
- The Leveler removed!
- Force Staff has a new icon.
- Ring of Protection has a new icon.
- Added Goblin Merchant Shop , Goblin Laboratory Shop, Replacing Goblin shop
HEROES:
- Batrider's Flambreak skill changed from AoE-targeting to Arrow-type-targeting. No longer has knockback!
- Batrider's first two skills' animations are much less flashy.

- New passive, Warcry. Active AoE buff, all units around the Rogue Knight gain bonus armor and move speed. +8 armor and +10% MS at Level 4. Uses old God's Strength animation.

Dota 6.60b - Dota-Allstars 6.60b Map News and Update. Dota-Allstars 6.60 has tons of changes and some people already reporting some glitch. IceFrog himself also saying that there's a high possibilities that a quick Dota 6.60b or Dota 6.61 will released to follow up Dota 6.60.
